Situation in world steel production month 11/2010

Generally 11 months of the year, world crude steel output reached 1.281 billion tons, up 16.2% over the same month last year.
In Asia, crude steel output of China reached 50.2 million tons last month, up 4.8% compared with May 2009. Japan's output reached 9 million tons, up 1.4% in Korea reached 5.2 million tons, up 16.4%.
In the European Union (EU), German crude steel production reached 3.8 million tons in November, up 8%, Italy 2.3 million tons, up 19.3% of the Spanish first reached, 2 million tons, down 19.8% and Turkey reached 2.5 million tons, up 15.7% over the same months of 2009.
In the Americas, America's crude steel output in November was 6.5 million tons, up 13% of Brazil reached 2.6 million tons, down 2.8%.
World crude steel production rose 31.9% month 11/2010 compared to 11/2008 - start time of market crisis affected the global economy. Steel production 11 months, 4.6% higher than the same period in 2008. However, the output of the EU and North America 11 months is equal to the level before the crisis when the reduction was 15.3% and 14.1% respectively over the same period in 2008. Production in Asia, while increasing by 16.4%.
Capacity of the steel plant of 66 member countries in November WSA in 75.2%, compared to 75.3% by October. Compared to 11/2009, the capacity of the steel plant last month by 0.8 percentage points.
